I know this because I’ve been there. I spent ten years living in the fast-paced energy of New York City, running my own yoga studio. It started as my dream job, but over time, I found myself caught in a cycle of external expectations—what success should look like, what I should offer, how I should show up. I disconnected from my own desires without even realizing it. Until one day, I collapsed. I couldn’t even teach anymore. I was EXHAUSTED! It was as if my body and spirit had shut down, demanding that I finally listen. So, I retreated. I isolated myself for two years, feeling completely lost. But in that space of stillness, I learned more than I ever had before. I reestablished my connection with my inner voice, and it illuminated the path I had been searching for all along.
